The Discovery of King Tut Exhibit

This exhibit took me on a journey through King Tutankhamen's tomb through the eyes of explorer Howard Carter.

The treasures were displayed exactly how they were discovered in each room of the tomb.

It was unfortunate that none of the treasures were originals, however, one cannot help but marvel at the beautiful designs and craftsmanship of ancient Egyptians.

Overall, I rate this exhibit 3 out of 5. It was definitely enjoyable and renewed my fascination of ancient Egypt. I applaud the team that recreated all the artifacts on display, however, I was really disappointed that not a single artifact was an original. There were a series of lectures held in January that I would have liked to go to but they only ran for a few weeks.

The exhibit by Premier Exhibitions runs through May 1, 2016. Premier is also hosting the Saturday Night Live exhibition in the same location. This is the main website:  http://www.tutnyc.com/. So what do you know about Egypt?
